Activity 1 - Grocery Store scavenger hunt
Grocery Store Scavenger Hunt
Student will need to find a variety of food items that meet the description of the scavenger hunt. (This includes industry buzzwords on labels and unprocessed to processed connections) When done we will put what everyone found onto a google presentation and discuss findings.

DAY 1:
Students will be assigned a buzzword and create a graffiti board.
Graffiti Boards will be peer reviewed and graded on: (One Point Rubric)
Exit Ticket: Write a tweet about the buzzword you are researching.

When done students will share out in small groups their learning.

Students will each receive a picture of a food product and they will need to create a list of raw products used to make each of the items in the finished product. Examples include: Pizza, Cheeseburger, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Sub Sandwich, and Banana Split
